Wellness Achiever
,
Marcia Keilee

Hello, my name is Marcia. When I was asked to be the Wellness Achiever of the Month, I didn't know why.  Other people's stories are much more interesting than mine, I thought. As I began to trace back to the beginning, I was stunned by my own story and the amount of work I have done to continue in this body. It was the first time I really looked at it. I was gratified to have the chance to express what I am about to share.

As difficult as it is to reveal, I realize that it may help someone else along the way. Though it may sound like an exaggerated story to sell Ziquin, I can assure you that I will actually be leaving out much of the dramatic detail, and that what I am about to say is true.

Today I am 55 years old and trusting that the next years of my life will make up for the last 40 in improved qualities and excellence.

Here is my some of my story. It begins happily with an excellent childhood.

EXCELLENT CHILDHOOD
As a child I was privileged to have had two wonderful parents who were extremely dedicated to their family and did everything they could to insure our healthy, happy lives. My three sisters and I were raised in year-round flower and food gardens and my parents, today at 87 and 88 years of age, still grow much their own vegetables and fruit. My father, 88, still plays tennis three days per week and my mother, 87, is unstoppable.  I believe the reason I am here is because of the exceptionally naturally healthy childhood my parents provided me, giving strength to my body and mind early in life.

DRUG BUST
In 1965, at age 15, I entered high school in the nearest city and started to swim with my school's water ballet team.  I loved to dance and swim and this was a perfect combination. My feet broke out with a strange rash and I didn’t respond to any of our natural home remedies. Since we didn't know if it was contagious, Mom took me to see a dermatologist.  He prescribed the new wonder drug cortisone for the rash and proceeded to give me 10 injections of it once a week for 8 weeks.

At the time, the serious side effects and dangers of the drug were not well understood.  Now there are severe warnings in regards to its use.

As one might imagine, my little 100 pound body had some reactions. First it gained 40 pounds. After 8 weeks, the rash did not disappear, but the skin on my feet was red and pleated and permanently damaged.

I had my first migraine headaches, skin problems, energy crashes, extreme PMS, and a whole series of coping and compensating behaviors. Because I started out so healthy, I managed to carry on. Because the side effects and dangers of cortisone were not widely understood, I did not know how to interpret the changes in my body or what was in store for me.

DECADES OF DENIAL
The next decade of my life was pretty good health-wise, despite the constant signs and symptoms of what we know now as drug toxicity. I have only just begun to understand the systematic breakdown of my body as it now is systemically recovering with the Ziquin.

Long story short, in 1989 at age 39, after going thru menopausal symptoms for a couple of years already and dealing with migraines and food allergies and adrenal burnout and kidney and liver stress, I was diagnosed with extreme heavy metal toxicity as the probable cause for the myriad of symptoms swirling in my body. My blood on a dark field microscope looked like a river of sparkling jewels, which were the heavy metals, laced with milky clouds of fungal infection.  My healthy red blood cells died after being alive for only three minutes in my toxic bloodstream.

FIERCELY FOUGHT RECOVERY
I was painting the inside trim in my brand new house at Christmas 1989, when I collapsed.  I did not know if I would pull out of it this time.  I was completed exhausted and sick all over. Fortunately, I spent the next two and a half years in rigorous and complex naturopathic healing protocol which required more details than space permits describing. In short, what I did to recover was a full time job, requiring extreme discipline with no room to goof off.

LIFE GOES ON AND STRESS TOOK ITS TOLL
The next decade was spent avoiding anything that may undermine my still not great body strength.  I declined trips to other states, Canada, Europe and China--travel of any kind--because I could not control my foods and bodily functions outside of my home. I avoided marriage, children, my once brilliant teaching career, plain old fun and the hiking and backpacking I loved so much--pretty much everything that required more than the energy I could probably exert.  I say “probably” because I never could exactly count on how much I would have. I realize, in retrospect, that I have been calculating and compensating for years.  If I did this or that, then I would pay for it with a migraine or a nap or a colonic or a two day juice fast. I told myself I was in control and I kept to myself to maintain the least complicated life.

IT JUST WASN'T WORKING ANYMORE
In the spring of 2005, I realized it wasn't working.  I had tried again to recover with some extreme naturopathic herbal remedies and a long fast, but the truth was, I was having a hard time just walking across a field with my dogs. Gardening--my joy--was a burden for the first time ever.  I was having some painful sores in my nose, I was beginning to get full blown eczema on my face, my eyes ached and were blood shot from the pressure of more frequent migraines, my body ached everywhere, and I had the old arthritic stuff happening; alarmingly my kidneys were hurting and I couldn't sleep without getting up to repeatedly use the bathroom even though I was careful not to drink hours before bed; I was anemic from the flooding menstrual periods that were lasting for weeks; I was experiencing hot flashes day and night; my legs had cellulite; my fingernails were ridged and my hair was dull and fragile; I was plagued with systemic Candida and some was lodged in my ear creating a continuous annoying fluttering sound while the other ear was ringing; I was constipated constantly and required frequent colonics.

I was really just a basket case and I started to get worried... I was aging rapidly.  I had always been "the picture of youth and health."  Everyone knew I was really careful with my diet and exercise and etc. and that I always looked younger than my age, but now I looked and felt awful. I did not know what else to do... nothing was working.

ZIQUIN TO THE RESCUE
In May 2005, I met my neighbor, Donna Love, (a Ziquin Wellness Achiever/coach) at a meeting in town.  I did not recognize her.  After many years of health and weight problems, she was slim and radiant! Rebecca Galbreath (a Ziquin Wellness Coach) was there too and she was telling me how great she felt after years of leg pain and the toxic effects of her long time painting work. And there was Elaine Schenk (another Ziquin Wellness Achiever/coach)! I had thought that she might have died because the last time I saw her she was so terribly sick, but there she was! Elaine! In her 70's and looking beautiful and bright!

"Okay, ladies,” I said, “What are you up to?" They all said "ZIQUIN!" I went straight home, listened to Dr. Yu's product tape Rebecca had given me a year prior, and then called Jayme and ordered the Premier Collection the same day.

THE THREE R'S
Now here is where you may think I am exaggerating (or maybe even lying), I understand, but I can tell you that what I am about to report is true.

In the first month, June 2005, I was on the Premier Collection. Within the first month my arthritic hands were completely normal, my migraines were less frequent, and I started to feel nourished. I listened to the Ziquin Rejuvenation Conference Calls. I read the entire website and Dr. Morris' True Nature of Healing. I started to understand the four R's: Replenish, Retrace, Revitalize, Rejuvenate.

By the second month, I chose the Fusion Collection and have used it ever since.  My migraines disappeared, my periods were light and regular, for the first time in 30 years, my inconsistent emotions began to harmonize, and my achy body was a memory. My moods lightened and my productivity increased.

By the third month, my fingernails were smoother and I noticed I needed to cut them more often and my hair was growing faster too. My frequently sore throat was gone for good.

By the end of the fourth month, at about 120 days, my eczema improved. My skin began to heal nicely. The really embarrassing red, puffy, itchy, peeling, oozing, dry and cracked skin on my face was becoming soft and new like a baby's! By the end of my fifth month, the fluttering and ringing in my ears stopped.

Now I am in my sixth month and I have to say that the conditions I had 15 years ago that took rigorous measures to heal over a two year period, are just disappearing. I do not have pain anywhere and don't even remember what a migraine feels like. My optimism is based on reality now and that is a huge benefit. I didn't realize the quiet depression I had had for years. I do not need the afternoon naps, so crucial for most of my life and especially in the first few months of Ziquin. The kidney stress and patchy sleep patterns are over.  I sleep deeply and well now. In fact, I have so much dependable energy now, that I have a hard time staying in bed for more than six hours.  I wake up refreshed and excited to get up and get going. I've not had this kind of energy since I was a little kid.  I am starting to dream of a very different future for myself. My mind is clearer, and I am making decisions that I would have just avoided before.  I am working now to stay balanced, though it’s difficult because I feel so good I want to do everything now!
